I’m Michael Alvis, and I’m am excited that you have decided to stop by. Welcome to Mixing In Action Studios. It has been my life’s work to make musical dreams come true for Artists and groups everywhere. 

My journey into the world of music started early, growing up immersed in a vibrant musical environment. From the third grade choir to high school show choir, music has always been a fundamental part of my life. Even some dancing.

As the son of a dancer and a DJ, rhythm and sound are in my blood. This mashup of influences lead me to start mixing and mastering professionally, nine years ago. Having always wanted to make my own music, I wanted to help others make their dreams come true.

My Approach

Mixing and mastering isn’t just a job for me—it’s a true passion. I believe that every track has a unique story to tell, and my mission is to help artists tell their stories in the most impactful way possible. I approach each project with attention to detail, ensuring that the final product is not only technically sound, but also emotionally resonant. When the project is done, it’s done. We are making Records and every bit of detail counts.
